
Marion Adler is a lyricist, singer
and actress. Her musicals Enter the Guardsman and Gunmetal Blues
(with husband Scott Wentworth and composer, Craig Bohmler) have been
produced in the West End and Off Broadway, and she is currently at
work on two more; The Baabaasheep Quartet (with Leslie Watts and
Berthold Carriere) and I Capture the Castle (with Kenneth Vega and
Peter Foley). In 2000, Marion was a winner of the $100,000 Kleban
Award for her body of work as a lyricist.
She was a member of the acting company at the Stratford Festival for
five seasons, and last summer played the Queen of France in
Loves Labours Lost and Emilia in Othello at Shakespeare Santa Cruz,
California.
During her early years in Stratford, Marion teamed up with the
unique and supremely talented Richard March. The Pajama Party
Cabaret is dedicated to him.
