Standing on Leaves is a post-apocalyptic story about the last five children on earth and will be created based on interviews and workshops that examine Canadian cultural reconciliation. The five children are responsible for sharing and reforming the land that remains after the world as we know it has been destroyed. They come from a multitude of backgrounds, have varying beliefs, morals, and personalities, but in order to survive they must reconcile and agree to how they will be governed, what moral systems they will employ, how they will make decisions, and how resources will be distributed.
