Participants were guided through creating their own shadow puppet and gained hands-on experience practicing sand drawings and performing shadow puppets on stage with light tables, cameras, and video projection. The techniques and technology learned in the workshop can be applied to a wide variety of performance styles, filmmaking, and animation. The workshop included a behind-the-scenes demonstration showing how Paradox Teatro artists perform a scene from their multimedia puppetry performance MIGRACIONES / MIGRATIONS. Paradox Teatro is interested in responding to the unique interests and questions of each participant by supporting participants of all ages ranging from beginners to experts.
