Get involved at World in a Weekend!

We are honoured to set the stage for the world's finest performers to astonish and delight our beautiful hometown of Stratford, Ontario...but we can't do it without the help of our wonderful volunteers! Get involved at this year’s World in a Weekend festival for a one-of-a-kind experience in your community. ​

Here are just a few ways that you can help: ​​

Student Volunteer (fulfill your required volunteer hours in a fun way!)

Facilitate children’s activity areas at Veteran's Drive Park

Create art with children and families

Stroll alongside stilt-walking characters

Help set-up and tear down activity areas

General Event Volunteer

Facilitate family activity areas

Be an event usher

Run the box office

Provide bar service (Smart Serve certification required)

Help set-up and tear down festival event spaces

Artists' Billet Host
-
Open to Stratford locals with a guest bedroom who are willing to open their home

Have a world-renowned artist(s) from all over the globe stay at your home

Dates will vary from July 29th to August 5th depending on the artist(s) staying with you (full availability not required)
