Shakespeare's women are transported into the contemporary world in this bold piece examining sexual violence in the works of the bard. Sylvia (a character from Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona) was recently attacked by a man named Proteus. After Sylvia’s attack, Lavinia, who in my story is close friends with Sylvia, brings Sylvia to the survival group to offer her support, but when Sylvia is too scared to speak up, Lavinia vows to bring Proteus to justice herself.
