Dance Masterclass

Nicola Pantin
Ages 15+

 

This class is open to intermediate advanced levels of dancers, age 15+. No previous modern dance training necessary. This will be a class loosely based on the principles of Limon technique. Full centre warmup, progressions including jumps and finishing with a combination at the end of class.

 

A special short performance by 3 members of
Jörgen Dance's mentorship program will wrap up the workshop along with an informal Q and A.

How our tickets work

PuppetWorks Pods

Tickets to World in a Weekend are being sold in pods. Pods = 1-5 patrons attending programming together. This allows your family, group of friends, etc. to attend for just one low cost.

​

One pod = one ticket = one to five people

 

The base pod price is $30. If you wish to donate further, a tax receipt will be issued.

At this time, SpringWorks will not be distancing patron pods. Masks and proof of vaccination will be required for indoor programming only.

 

SpringWorks will continue to monitor government and Public Health guidelines and implement any necessary changes to ensure the safety of all involved. We are also following the lead of Arts Industry partners like the Shaw and Stratford Festivals who are surveying patrons for their comfort levels on a regular basis.

Nicola Pantin

NICOLA PANTIN is a native of Waterloo, Ontario. She is an independent choreographer, dancer and instructor based in Toronto. Her extensive choreography includes dance and theatre/musical theatre and film. Selected companies include The Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Young People’s Theatre, Charlottetown Festival, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Sheridan College, George Brown Dance, La Jolla Playhouse, Harbourfront World Stage, Nuit Blanche, Summerworks, Springworks, Theatre New Brunswick, Citadel Theatre, Second City, Spark/Expect Theatre, Red Barn Theatre, Humber River Shakespeare, Shakespeare in the Rough, Ffida, Toronto Fringe Festival, Jamii and most recently Pleiades Theatre. Awards include two Doras (Jacob Two Two Meets the Hooded Fang, RJ Remixed) and Gold at Les Jeux de la Francophonie (Corpus) She continues to teach at various colleges and dance studios, tour and choreograph independently, sometimes under 3Degrees, a company she runs with her husband, Adam Nashman.
