Journey back in time with the world-class cabaret stylings of Yael Rasooly. Fresh from playing Don't Tell Mama Cabaret and Neue Galerie in Manhattan and venues across Europe, Hymn to Love showcases the sparkling music of the 1920s through 1950s, with guest artist appearance of that most iconic chanteuse, Edith Piaf, herself. According to AFTONBLADET Culture in Stockholm, Sweden, “When the Piaf puppet sings, the room becomes one heart”. Hosted at the wonderful Revival House restaurant, you can enjoy a luscious meal or sip on favourites as you are transported to another era.
Yael will be joined by Tom Leighton on the keys.
Multi-instrumentalist: Tom plays piano, accordion, accordion bass, bouzouki, bodhran, whistles, jaw harps, – sometimes several of them at the same time! He plays in many styles including Celtic, East Coast, Rock and Swing.
